The AI data layer
for food

MenuClaw builds the world's largest restaurant knowledge graph — the structured, connected layer of truth that every food AI application has been missing.

Our mission

Why we built MenuClaw

The restaurant industry runs on the world's most fragmented data. Menus live in PDFs, photos, delivery apps and POS systems — designed for hungry humans, illegible to machines. As AI began answering "what should I eat?", every model hit the same wall: there was no structured, connected layer of truth about food.

MenuClaw exists to be that layer. We built the extraction engines, the entity resolution, and the global knowledge graph that turns a blurred menu photo into typed, queryable, relationship-rich data — then exposed it as infrastructure any company can build on.

Our north star is simple: by the time an AI assistant answers a question about food, it should be grounded in the most complete and accurate restaurant dataset on earth — not a guess scraped from a search index.

We are builders, data engineers and food obsessives. Backed for the long term, shipping for the AI food era.

What we believe

Principles that ship with us

Data is infrastructure

Food data isn't content to be scraped — it's a durable asset, maintained with the same rigor as a database. Clean, licensed, continuously refreshed.

Structure over volume

Billions of unstructured menus mean nothing without typed entities and real relationships. Resolution quality is our first product.

Ship for builders

Developer-first everything: predictable APIs, great docs, honest limits. If it isn't easy to integrate, we haven't finished.

Food obsessives

Tonkotsu vs. shoyu matters. We sweat regional cuisines, allergens and pricing because accuracy lives in the details.

Accuracy, audited

Every entity is scored, versioned and traceable. When an AI tells someone what to eat, it should be able to stand behind the answer.

Partners over take

We grow with POS, delivery and SaaS platforms rather than competing with them. Their success is our data flywheel.

Milestones

From extraction to infrastructure

Founded

MenuClaw starts with a simple frustration: AI models can't answer what to eat because there's no structured data about food.

First extraction engine

Vision and NLP pipelines turn the first million menu photos and PDFs into typed dishes, ingredients and prices.

Knowledge graph at scale

Entity resolution connects restaurants to dishes to ingredients across languages and cuisines — billions of relationships.

Restaurant Intelligence API

Developer-first APIs open the graph to AI companies, POS platforms, delivery platforms and restaurant SaaS.

Enterprise & datasets

Private deployments, model-training datasets and the food data flywheel begin compounding for the AI era.

Let's build the food economy.
